Cobra Club Nederland

Hello Cobra friends,

Last year we had the opportunity to meet at the European Cobra meeting in Slovenia. I still have very fond memories of this well organized event.

At the last evening of this event we announced that the Dutch Cobra club (CCN) would organize the European Cobra meeting in 2012.

We have set the date for Friday 31 August, Saturday 1 September, Sunday 2 September.  It is a 3 day event with al lot of activities. 

We have found the best place for such an event. The venue is a new F1 stock car circuit (oval) near Venray in Holland

2012 will in more than one aspect be a memorable year and lets hope for the best. 2012 will also mark the 50 year anniversary of the Cobraand the 20^th year anniversary of CCN.

We invite all European Cobra and Daytona (original or replica) drivers to come and book for this wonderful 3 day event.

Please note: This event is only open for Cobra, Daytona & GT40 (original or replica) drivers/owners.

There will be a rock-band who will play the one and only Cobra guitar in the world!

This special hand built Cobra guitar was auctioned on the Slovenian Cobra meeting in 2011.

We are still in the process to gathering more ideas, negotiating prices with several organizations, planning activities, etc. That means that the content is still a moving target but we do have a global plan were will stick to.

So what kind of things are we going to offer?

The oval circuit is situated in a rather “remote” location and is fully fenced and guarded.

Why is this important? There is a possibility to park your Cobra or Daytona overnight on the inner circuit. You can not beat that for safety. Maybe it will be possible to hire the pit boxes, so we can provide against extra cost, for some of you an even better overnight Cobra or Daytona parking place. And of course there will be all kind activities on the circuit.

All activities except the tours you will be making will be in and around the circuit.

We have made arrangements with three hotels in the area. Please remember that the hotels in Holland are not cheap. Please book early to avoid disappointment and check out the “Hotel webpages ” for all the details.

The arrangement is that everyone must book his / her own room for a 3 night stay and breakfast for the specially agreed fixed price (using the booking code ECM 2012).

We have made arrangements that everyone will be transported to and from the circuit and the hotel each morning and evening.
